During its years of activity, the Workshop has become an exclusive and unique center providing knowledge in the practice and theory of printmaking, the preservice of ancient print techniques and the development of innovative ones. The Workshop team provides guidance and knowledge to artists, curators, scholars, students and the general public. The Workshop library contains a rich book collection with numerous art books and unique and rare books dedicated to printing techniques. The library, like the Workshop’s print collection, is open to the public free of charge.
Etching: Sundays, starting January 15th
Woodcut: Tuesdays, starting February 7th
Screenprint: Wednesdays, starting January 18th

All courses, unless noted otherwise, are comprised of 12 3-hour weekly sessions (total of 36 hours), in the course of 3 months. The sessions take place at the Jerusalem Print Workshop once a week between 4 pm – 7 pm. The program of each course may change depending on the teacher and the progress made by the students.
Tuition: 2,250 NIS
A first payment of 300 NIS is to be made upon registration. It constitutes a registration fee and guarantees your participation. This payment is non-returnable in case of cancellation. The rest of the payment, 1,950 NIS, will be paid on the first session and can be split into a maximum of 3 payments. The tuition will not be returned to students who were absent in one or more of the sessions or who decided to end their participation during the course. Additionally, students who missed a class will not be able to take another instead. The tuition includes equipment and printing sheets (Bristol board 250 grams). Students are required to bring additional equipment, which is specified in the course syllabus.
Graduation certificates and/or certificates of enrollment, and texts about printmaking will be provided to graduates upon demand.
In order to preserve the art of printmaking and make it accessible to many audiences, the Workshop holds courses for beginners and advanced students in the various printmaking techniques, educational programs, guided tours, lectures and seminars for artists, students, curators, scholars and the general public. In addition, the Workshop maintains relations with academic institutions and schools in Jerusalem, and holds guided tours for academic and high-school students, as well as special tours for people with disabilities.
The Workshop holds unique courses in screenprinting, etching, woodcutting and bookbinding. Each course includes an introduction to the Workshop and its modes of work, a historical survey of the technique, and practical work, which combines teaching and independent practice. The courses are given in small groups of 7-8 students, enabling close guidance by the instructor. All courses are taught by the Workshop’s master-printers, who are experts in their fields.
Independent work in the Workshop (subject to availability) and advanced courses will be available to graduates upon completion of the basic courses.
