The Jerusalem Print Workshop was established in 1974, and even then,
it was clear that as part of its mission to spread and transmit traditional
printmaking techniques, the Workshop must open its doors to
independent artists working in print and allow them to create prints
using the Workshop’s extensive equipment and expertise. The Open
Workshop is an integral part of the Jerusalem Print Workshop, which
adds significant value to its overall activity. Over its fifty years of
existence, hundreds of artists have worked there. The current exhibition
features prints in a variety of techniques by thirteen artists who are
currently active at the Workshop.
