Jim Dine
Jim Dine was born in 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. He was one of the founders of the Pop Art movement in the 1950s. Apart from sculpting and painting, he is also known for being one of the most prominent print artists in the United States. Dine has worked in print workshops in Israel several times. In 1979 he created at the Burston Graphic Center a number of lithographs. In 2000 he gave an etching workshop for a group of Israeli artists at the Gottesman Etching Center. He returned to Israel in 2001 and created etchings at the Gottesman Center and the Jerusalem Print Workshop.
