Zvi Tolkovsky

Zvi Tolkovsky was born in 1934. During 1959-1961 he lived in Paris, where he was an assistant and printer for Yaacov Agam. When he was studying in New York, Tolkovsky became acquainted with various screenprinting techniques. Upon his return to Israel, he founded a screenprinting workshop at Bezalel, and was an active member of the multidisciplinary artists group Mashkof, as well as the group Radius. In 1970 he founded another workshop at the Tel Aviv Artists House. His works can be found among the collections of the Israel Museum, Haifa Museum, and others.
