Pamela Levy (1949-2004)
Pamela Levy was born in 1949 in Fairfield Iowa, United States. She immigrated to Israel in 1976 and settled in Jerusalem. A majority of her work was dedicated to printmaking, and especially woodcutting. She dealt with issues of personal identity and feminism, which reflected current affairs in Israeli society. Her works can be found among the collections of the Israel Museum, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Discount Bank, Haaretz Art Collection, and others.
