Michael Kovner (b. 1948)
Michael Kovner was born in 1948 on Kibbutz Ramat HaHoresh. He lives and works in Jerusalem and New York. Most of his works are paintings and drawings. His screenprints from the 1980s depicted buildings and building facades. His works from the 1990s onward, most of them etchings, describe landscapes and the urban experience from his own personal observation and interpretation. His works can be found among the collections of the Museum of Jewish Art (New York), Israel Museum, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Haifa Museum, Beit HaNassi (Jerusalem).
