Moshe Kupferman (1926-2003)

Moshe Kopperman was born in 1926 in Jaroslaw, Poland. He immigrated to Israel in 1948, after enduring World War II in Ural Federal District, Russia, and in Kazakhstan. He was one of the founders of Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot, of which he was a member until his death. He began his work in print in the late 1970s, as a continuation of his drawing. Most of his work was in screenprint. Kopperman experimented in creating variations of various motifs.
